Cashew

CASHEW NUTS - are fruit of  Western cashew tree species (also known as Western cashew tree) which is a close relative of  mango. Cashew trees  come from tropical areas of South America, mainly from Brazil. These kidney-shaped nuts (hence their name “nerkowce” in Polish) are also cultivated in India, Vietnam and Central Africa. The Brazilian variety is larger in size and has a sweet taste, while those from Indian cultivation are smaller, more crunchy but less sweet. Cashew nuts have many nutritional and healthy values. Thanks to their properties they prevent from the occurrence of many diseases and ailments.
